CB Pump

Sewage Treatment Plants

Sewage treatment plants (STPs) from Wärtsilä are the most cost-effective and safe answer for every ship or offshore platform to dispose of wastewater at sea.

Vacuum Collection System

The vacuum collection systems from Wärtsilä Water & Waste use differential air pressure to transport sewage from the toilet bowls, and other sanitary fittings, to the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) or independent collection tank.

Vacuum Toilet System

Single Stage Desalination Plants

Horizontal inner Tube Evaporator (HiTE)

The Wärtsilä Horizontal inner Tube Evaporator (HiTE) is a multi-effect evaporator specifically designed for producing small to medium capacities of 30 to 175 tons of distillate per day. The HiTE operates smoothly even at partial load.

Multi-Stage Flash (MSF) Evaporator

Wärtsilä's Multi-Stage Flash (MSF) evaporator is used for producing distillate (fresh water) from sea, well or industrial water. The MSF is able to produce up to 1500 tons of distillate per day.

Fixed pitch propellers

With its integrated technologies, Nakashima provides high-performance and high-quality propellers by optimally balancing propulsion efficiency, strength and vibration performance according to each customer’s special requirements.

Model XS CPP

This model is mainly used in mid to small-size vessels of a maximum of 5,000 PS. A hydraulic cylinder for controlling the blade angle is installed in the cylinder shaft inside the vessel.

Model XL CPP

This model is mainly used in large size-vessels of 5,000 PS or more. A hydraulic cylinder for controlling the blade angle is installed in the propeller hub outside the vessel.

Model TCT thruster

The controllable pitch propeller-type Model TCT is a high-performance tunnel-type thruster. It provides good maneuverability because the direction and scale of thrust can be changed by controlling the blade angle of the propeller.

Model TFN thruster

Using the fixed pitch propeller-type Model TFN, the direction and scale of thrust can be easily controlled by the revolution and rotation direction of the prime mover. Since the model can be used with hydraulic motors, electric motors, and diesel engines, it is used on various types of vessels.


The pressure distribution behind a regular cap leads to increased resistance due to negative pressure, while with an ECO-Cap, positive pressure produces a propulsive force, increasing the propulsive force compared to a regular cap.

Shafting systems

Shafting systems can be classified as either sea water-lubricated systems or oil-lubricated systems depending on their characteristics. Nakashima Propeller can provide an optimum combination of parts as well as parts according to the needs of both types of systems.
